We are based out of the Ellicott City/Columbia, Maryland area.

Classroom Facility 1:

We currently utilize an indoor classroom facility in Eldersburg, Maryland. The office has fingerprinting services available in the building (must verify that fingerprinting is available for your class). Restrooms, water fountains, coffee machines, etc (most anything you'd expect to see at an indoor office building).

Classroom Facility 2:

We also utilize an outdoor(covered on all but one side-well ventilated facility during this time of COVID-19) classroom facility in Taneytown, Maryland.

Mobile fingerprinting services are often provided at this facility. Be sure to ask if fingerprinting will be available for your class. If fingerprinting is not immediately available, we can point you in the direction of our industry partners to schedule a time to get your fingerprints taken.

This facility is a bit more austere. The facility is located on a farm, but there is a wonderful range located on the property, so you don't have to go elsewhere for the range portion of the training.

Sadly, there are no restrooms at this facility, however, we do our best to allow adequate time for restroom breaks in the event a longer break is needed.

In our opinion, we use some of the best ranges in Maryland. These ranges allow for training opportunities that most don't. We can draw from a holster, move, shoot, and communicate, work with vehicles, perform room clearing training, and so on.

Range Facility 1:

Located in Finksburg, Maryland, this private facility is likely one of the best in Maryland in our opinion. You can't get there without special invitation. This facility touts four (4) separate shooting locations.

The main range at this facility allows for shooting up to 50 yards. Perfect for zeroing carbines (rifles) and performing other tactical work. 

This facility features an outdoor shoot house and vehicles for vehicle-related training.

The primary range is covered by backstop fully on one side, with partial coverage on two (2) additional sides.

The facility also features a smaller range for shooting small competition stages or running a separate class.

From a position just off the main range, it is also possible to shoot up to 350 yards(perfect for stretching the legs on a carbine or zeroing a long distance precision rifle).

The third range on this facility allows for shooting up to 600 yards. Perfect for starting work on long distance precision rifle training.

The fourth range pushes out to 1400 yards for those who need to shoot extreme long range.

This facility is outdoors. No restrooms on property. Sadly, for short breaks, the closest restroom is the great outdoors. However, we will try and afford as much privacy as possible, due to the heavily wooded nature of the location. However, there are restrooms at a local business down the street if anyone is uncomfortable in the great outdoors. Please let us know if you require time to head that way, and we will do our best to make accommodations for you. This is subject to time and other customer needs.

Range Facility 2:

This facility is located in Taneytown, Maryland, on the same property as Classroom Facility 2. 

This allows for easy access to the range from the classroom facility without having to travel between classroom and range.

The primary range is very nice and very deeply cut into the side of a hill. 

It's covered by backstop for almost 360 degrees. You won't find this almost anywhere.

The range goes out to 20 yards, with 25 yards being achievable as well.

This facility also features a long distance precision shooting range out to 1000 yards.

This facility is outdoors. No restrooms on property. Sadly, for short breaks, the closest restroom is the great outdoors. However, we will try and afford as much privacy as possible, due to the heavily wooded nature of the location. However, there are restrooms at a local business down the street if anyone is uncomfortable in the great outdoors. Please let us know if you require time to head that way, and we will do our best to make accommodations for you. This is subject to time and other customer needs.

Range Facility 3:

Range Facility 3 is an indoor public range located in Odenton, Maryland. 

This range has all the amenities of an indoor, public range facility. We often perform HQL courses and basic familiarization that doesn't require drawing from a holster or moving.

This range is perfect for beginning shooters who just want to become familiar with their handgun, and have restroom facilities in the building, with restaurants and other stores in the same shopping center.

This facility also rents and sells firearms, so participants may be able look at different types of firearms to help with their selection process.

When would you use an outdoor range vs. an indoor range?

Simple. Our private outdoor facilities allow for freedom, privacy, and quiet (relatively speaking). They also cost a lot less.

Indoor ranges are often loud for new shooters. It's easy for them to flinch and feel uncomfortable in the learning environment. Ventilation is often poor.

With outdoor ranges we can draw from a holster, move, shoot, work on advanced training, etc. Classes that utilize indoor ranges to perform this level of training are often $500+, and you often can't move from the firing line. 

If you prefer an indoor facility for training of this type, let us know. We'll do our best to provide this service, but it will likely come at a premium.

In our opinion, a carry class that doesn't let you practice drawing from the holster, doesn't quite get the job done.

Indoor range facilities are best for simple, quick classes focused on familiarization rather than training. The basic safety course to meet the training requirements for Maryland's HQL is a good example of a course focused on familiarization, rather than training.

These facilities often provide their own restrooms and sinks, to wash up after shooting.

They are sometimes located in shopping centers, so you have food, hydration, and shopping more accessible to you. NEVER EAT OR DRINK INSIDE THE RANGE BUILDING. BE SURE TO WASH BEFORE EATING OR DRINKING. HYDRATE AND EAT OUTSIDE THE BUILDING.

Whether at an indoor or outdoor range facility, be sure to use wipes or soaps that are specifically designed to remove lead and other contaminants before eating or drinking.

NEVER EAT OR DRINK INSIDE THE RANGE BUILDING. BE SURE TO WASH BEFORE EATING OR DRINKING. HYDRATE AND EAT OUTSIDE THE BUILDING. 

NEVER EAT OR DRINK NEAR WHERE SHOOTING IS OCCURRING (INDOOR OR OUTDOOR).

BE SURE TO WASH CLOTHES AND TAKE OFF ALL CLOTHES AND SHOES BEFORE ENTERING YOUR HOME -- ESPECIALLY IF CHILDREN, BABIES, OR ANIMALS ARE PRESENT, OR COULD POTENTIALLY BE PRESENT AT ANY POINT IN TIME.

SHOOTING AND SELF-DEFENSE TRAINING AND OTHER ACTIVITIES OF THESE TYPES ARE DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES.
